Migration
Dear All,
We will be migrating our E-Mail services to Microsoft Exchange Online during the following two weekends starting at midnight on Thursday March 20, 2025. This will be a seamless process for all users where all email messages will be transferred automatically to the new service without interruption and/or user intervention. We are doing this for two main reasons:
- Microsoft will no longer support on-premises Exchange 2016 and Exchange 2019 beyond October 2025.
- To take advantage of the security features Exchange Online offers, such as two factor authentication and Spam protection.
There will be no extra charge for this service. However, we will be offering additional options and features, should you need an upgrade:
Note:
Your new service will be a standard subscription with 50GB of E-Mail storage per mailbox. Other features and options may be added upon request. Please call us or send an email to hosting@jodata.net for pricing information.
Additional features and options:
- 100GB E-Mail storage per mailbox.
- 1TB OneDrive storage per user.
- Microsoft Apps for business – each user is licensed to install Apps such as (Word, Excel, Outlook) on 5 PCs, Macs, Phones, and Tablets.
- Windows Business license for each PC.
- Other features and options are available.
Important:
All users are required to download and install an Authenticator App of their choice. We recommend using Microsoft Authenticator. Please have it downloaded and installed on your phone or tablet. Your new service will not be activated until you verify your account using an authenticator and a phone number. An SMS will be sent to your phone number to complete the verification process.
